Wandaleen Haynes, 85, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1938 in Fannett, Texas to Sam and Tommie Lee (Miears) Wingate. After graduating high school she earned her bachelor's degree in education, she was a Special Education Teacher for over 40 years. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, one sister, Carra McAdams, one brother Lawrence Wingate, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Patsy.

Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
