Walter "Wally" Hernandez Castillon, 83, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.Wally was born on February 22, 1940, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Thomas and Inez (Hernandez) Castillon. He moved to Tahoka from St. Paul, Minnesota before finally making his final home in Lubbock. He was a self-employed welder for several years before he retired in 2015. He loved spending time with his family, He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are children, Lydia Ramirez-Castillon, Margarita Castillon and husband Jimmy, Joe Castillon and wife Colleen, Norma Zarich and husband Jim; one brother, John Castillon and wife Trina; one sister, Tina Zuniga; one brother-in-law, John Villa eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Inez Castillon, two brothers, Elias Castillon, and Joe Castillon; three sisters, Francis Rivera and husband John Barrientez, Amelia Moto and husband Antonio, Isabel Villa.

Celebration of life services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
