Valentin Montoya, 89, of Ralls passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on May 10, 1934, in Presidio, Texas to Teodora Montoya. As a child he and his family moved to Pecos, Texas where he was a farm laborer all of his adult life. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Teodora Castillo and husband Ruben of Pecos, Yolanda Reyes and Josefina Aguilar both of California; grandchildren, Claudia Castillo of California, Rodney Castillo of Pecos, Judy Fuentes and husband Orlando of Pecos, Raymundo Robles, Angie Reyes, Elizabeth Villa and Jese Aguilar all of California, 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Valentin was preceded in death by his mother Teodora Montoya, and daughter, Diana Montoya.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
