Obituary

Lujan was born to the union of Ernest and Mary Lujan on August 7th, 1960, in Roswell, New Mexico. He graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell and later joined the United States Airforce in 1982. He proudly served his country for eight years, achieving many accomplishments along the way. One of his biggest accomplishments included being the first in history at Hickman Air Force base of Honolulu, Hawaii to receive a 100% completion rate by the general's board. Before meeting with the board that day, Lujan received a message from the Lord, instructing him to wear his old uniform with the hole in its sleeve, rather than his new uniform.

The Lord said, "I will blind them."

Additionally, upon arrival the Lord guided him to the restroom and told him to kiss the floor 25 times slowly. He told Lujan he would guard the bathroom door with an angel. Later that year, he received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus' name. While there, the Lord showed him a vision and pointed him to a white church with red doors, and told him, "This is where you'll go and learn of Me." The Lord also revealed his wife to be a black woman.

He got stationed at Scott Air Force base in Illinois. That is where he found the white church with red doors and where he learned about Jesus. Under the leadership of Bishop Charles Bennett, whom he loved very dearly, he became a powerful minister at Pentecostal Power Church in Lebanon, Illinois. With him, were many ministers he enjoyed fellowshipping with. He called them his "bros," and they called him "Lu." He told his "bros" that the Lord revealed he would have his wife in three years and God kept his word. Some weeks before the three years were up, in December of 1987, he met his wife of 35 years in Madison, Illinois. Elder Harvey McDonald Sr's daughter, Darlene McDonald. She was better known to Lujan as "Black Momma," and "My African Queen." (: They dated for only three weeks before wedding of Valentine's Day in 1988. They had six sons, which were prophesied to them. AMEN.

In his 30+ years as called by God to preach; the Lord told him that he was a seed planter. He planted thousands of seeds and, yes, he watered many as well. He constantly checked on those he watered to help them know they could make it and to keep pushing. It started when he was stationed in Incirlik, Turkey. He encouraged and counseled young and married couples and baptized many people in bathtubs. His first miracle in Turkey was a man who appeared to have leprosy. The man knocked on the door and asked Lujan, "Can you call on Allah to help me," and Lujan responded, "My God is not Allah. My God is called Jesus."

He called to his wife, Darlene, asking her to bring the anointing oil, and told the man, "I am a server of God, not a healer," as he rubbed it on the man's arm and prayed. The next day, the man returned, knocking on Lujan's door, and rejoicing with the skin of a baby. The man brought many more sick people and Lujan prayed over them all.

He prayed and people were healed of breast cancer. He prayed for a drug dealer with gangrene and the Lord blessed her with healthy toes. He prayed for and anointed a young boy who couldn't speak clearly, and God cleared up his speech. Many times, late at night, he came to the aid of the mentally ill and suicidal, helping them through their struggles with the power of the Lord.

Lujan graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1996 as a registered nurse. He worked as an RN for 27 years and spent 15 of those as a psych nurse, suturing and praying over many patients. Each person he touched had a seed planted within them and they called him "Dr. Lujan."

When he moved to Lubbock, Texas he became a member of Agape Temple under the leadership of Bishop Witt. Watson. The bishop felt led to start a marriage enrichment group and said the Lord said it was for Pastor Lujan to guide it. He loved the Watson family and church. Lujan felt the need to experience fellowship in his Latino culture and asked for Bishop Watson's permission to leave. With Bishop's blessing, Lujan met with Pastor Emilio and Julio Sauceda, creating a beautiful bond that lasted them a lifetime. Later on, Bishop Watson gave Lujan a church to start a ministry on Main and Guava. God worked many miracles there and used Lujan as a vessel to plant and water new seeds around the area.

Pastor Lujan began his new, eternal life Monday, the 23rd of October 2023 at 1:35 pm within his home. Proceeding him in death are his father, Ernest Lujan, mother, Mary Jimenez, and his brother, Tony Garcia. He leaves behind to mourn his beloved wife, Darlene.
