Tomasita "Tommie" Gonzales

Tomasita “Tommie” Gonzales, 60, of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1965, in Del Rio, Texas to the late Benigno and Tomacita (Zulaica) Palacios. Tommie was a simple woman, she loved spending time with her family, she always stayed connected with her extended family. Tommie has a special relationship with her grandchildren, they loved to come over and hang out with her, she always had the best snacks for “Movie Time”. You could always find her at the cook-out with a snack and a cold Cola in her hand, dancing to the music. Tommie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Andres Jacob Gonzales and fiancé, Raina, Adrian Rosendo Gonzales and wife, Marlene, Magdalena Nicole Gonzales; siblings, Ben Palacios, Corina Leal, Donna Dominguez, Rosie Lopez, David Palacios, Jerry Palacios; grandchildren, Adrian, Adalina, Aliza, Azariah, Alejandra, Anjelita, Milli Miranda, Landon and Jayce Ramirez; and four great-grandchildren.

Tomasita was preceded in death by her parents, Benigno and Tomacita Palacios.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
