Theresa Leal, 62, of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1959 to the late Juan and Guadalupe (Garza) Leal in Lubbock, TX. Theresa loved to sing and brighten the mood in any room. She was an angel in disguise and loved her family dearly. Theresa was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a special love for her great-grandchildren Aubrey and Jakada. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joshua Meza, and Rebecca Rodriguez; sisters, Dell Oyervidez, Rosa Garcia; grandchildren, Genesis, JJ, Ivan, Jada, Lexi, and Allie Meza; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, and Jakada. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Guadalupe Leal; son, Jacob Meza; brothers, Domingo, Juan Jr., Paul; sisters, Dominga, Guadalupe, Lecha, Matilda, and Juanita. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
