Obituary

Theodore Flynn Morris-Currie, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the age of 35. He was born in Lubbock, on September 8, 1986, to Charles Lewis and Frances Jane (Rozycki) Morris. He attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church where he served as an Altar Boy. Theodore attended Christ the King Catholic School from kindergarten to 6th grade and then attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2005. During high school he was a very active member of the Roosevelt Eagles Band, he proudly played tuba and was involved in solo and ensemble and he was part of the gold winning brass ensemble for the state level. He also competed in UIL math and sciences. Later in life Theodore enjoyed drawing, painting, poetry, and playing the guitar and was starting to learn to play the harmonica. He spent his spare time playing dungeons and dragons and working on computers. He was a devoted family man, due to marry the love of his life, Amber Bohannon, in just a few weeks. Theodore was employed by Hillrom Services, Inc. and Sleep Comfort, where he assisted with set up and repairs on residential and hospital beds. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Frances J. Morris; fiancé, Amber Bohannon and her four children, Madelyn, Aerabella, Aniyah and Landon; two sisters, Felicity Duhan and husband Jeff, and Catherine Jaramillo and husband Jaime; seven nieces and nephews, Alexandra Perkins and husband Tyler, Bernadette Duhan and husband Jason Luera, Lewis Duhan, Caitlin Marroquin and husband Mitch, Charles Kieth and wife Hayley, Aubrey Philips and husband Connor, and Brandy Yeats and husband Ryan; thirteen great nieces and nephews; aunt, Patricia Morris; cousin, Heather Morris and her four grandchildren; his three sons, Salem, Oswin, and Angus; two daughters, Uilleanla and Cyrsidhwen, and a Multitude of Rozycki and Bielamowicz cousins. Theodore was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Morris; grandparents, Frank I. and Helen (Bielamowicz) Rozycki; uncle John A. Rozycki, Maude Wise Jamieson, Charles William Kinderman and 32 great aunts and uncles. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
