Sylvia Cruz, 66, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. She was born on December 29, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and Carmen (Zararosa) Buentello. Sylvia loved music and dancing.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years Esbardo Cruz; daughter, Mia Cruz; grandsons Santa San Miguel and Ismail Niki Cruz; granddaughter Asia Laray Cruz; three brothers, Robert Buentello, Jr, Ricky Buentello, and Paul Buentello.

Sylvia is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Carmen Buentello, daughters, Anna Marie Cruz, and son, Fernando Cruz.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
