Steven "Steve" Lee Heape, 62, passed away on July 31, 2021. He was born on February 16, 1959 in Mobile, AL to the late Marion and Gene Heape. He is also preceded in death by a younger brother, Jon Heape. Survivors include his wife, Linda Heape, whom he loved until his last breath, as well as two sons, Matthew Heape (wife Tiffany Heape), Brannon Heape (wife Brynne Heape), six grandchildren and an older brother Joel Heape (wife Cherry Heape) of Lynn Haven, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve always cherished time with family the most but also enjoyed Alabama football, traveling with Linda, listening to music, reading about WWII history and family genealogy. The family will celebrate Steve's life in a private gathering on August 21, 2021. To offer condolences you are invited to sign his virtual guestbook to serve as a permanent memory for the family.
