Stephanie Martinez, a lifelong resident of Brownfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of 41. She was born on January 21, 1983, to Victoriano Martinez, Sr. and Silvia Martinez. Throughout her life, Stephanie maintained a deep connection to her roots in Brownfield, where she attended Brownfield High School and was known for her infectious sense of humor and love for her family. Stephanie's love for music was evident to all who knew her, with her fondness for it being a constant presence in her life both day and night. She found joy in spending time with her mother, often sharing moments of laughter and companionship during their bingo outings together. An avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Stephanie's passion for the team brought her both excitement and shared moments of enthusiasm with fellow fans.

Stephanie is survived by her mother, Silvia Martinez (Lupe Garcia); father, Victoriano Martinez, Sr; long-time partner, Danny Guerra; daughter, Dolores Martinez (Joe Perez); 3 brothers, Christopher Martinez (Alexandria Garcia), Varden Bryant Martinez (Tiffany Christesson), and Ricky Martinez; 5 nieces and 14 nephews; and 2 grandchildren, Jayvien Perez and Ivyanna Perez.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her brother, Victoriano Martinez, Jr; her son, Danny Guerra; her maternal grandparents, Inoe and Celia Valdez; and her paternal grandmother, Antonia Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Brownfield Cemetery.
