Stephanie G Briseno passed away on Jan. 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on December 4, 1952, in Levelland, Texas, to Magdaleno and Margarita Gutierrez. Stephanie "Queen B" was a strong, brave, determined and hardworking woman that was a loyal employee at Covenant Hospital for almost 30 years. Stephanie took pride in raising her four children as a single mom as she created a great foundation for strong family values that include love, respect, pride, perseverance, and never give up attitude. She also loved to listen to all genres of music, sing, dance, and work in her garden. Stephanie was funny, life of the party, our dancing Queen, and never let anyone that stepped into her home leave without a home cooked meal. Stephanie is survived by her four children, Melinda Briseno Camacho of Lubbock, TX, Gracie Borrego (Craig) of Moore, OK, Irma Garcia (Joe) of Plainview TX, Daniel Briseno (Mary) of Austin, TX, and her lifelong friend Ramiro Gutierrez. Siblings, Rosa Garcia, Lupe Chavez (Domingo Sr), Ruben Gutierrez, Joe Gutierrez (Margie), David Gutierrez (Delores), Robert Gutierrez, (Viola), Diana Montalvo (Juan), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents Magdaleno & Margarita Gutierrez; sisters Mary Lou Gonzalez, Alicia Gutierrez, Elizabeth Velasquez; and a brother, Magdaleno Gutierrez Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
