Stella Ramirez, 68, of Meadow, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1957 in Brownfield, Texas to the late Antonio and Mary (Balderas) Rodriguez. Stella was a bright soul who always lit up the room she walked into. Never meeting a stranger, she always made a friend wherever she went or worked. She worked many years at the Big Fina in Brownfield where she made a lot of life-time friendships from customers to coworkers. Stella enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing bingo, and spending special time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Luis Antonio Rodriguez, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, and Christopher Andrew Ramirez; stepson, Rich Andrada; sisters, Ofelia Mendez, Lisa Estrada and husband, Steven, Lorenza Valdez and husband, Gilbert; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Mary Rodriguez; brothers, Ronnie & Ralph Rodriguez; and life-long partner, Ricky Luera.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. ~8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield with an open mic to begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield. Cremation services are under direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
