Sareta Jo (Cotton) Fenton, 76, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1947, in Colorado City, Texas too Tom and Helen (Feaster) Cotton. Sereta was a very talented lady, she enjoyed painting, sculpting, and playing any musical instrument that she could get her hands on. In her youth she cowgirled with her father, roping cattle, driving the tractor and anything else she needed to do to help around the family farm. She had a love for people and was a registered Nurse and eventually was the owner of a local assisted living facility for over 24 years. Sareta has touched so many lives and will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shea Kellams and husband Caspar Davey and Dana Hall and husband Brian; sister,Vickie Whitson and husband Dee; brother,  Tom Cotton and wife Patsy; four grandchildren, Brittany Marshall and husband Austin, Brandon Hall, Cage Kellams and Caston Kellams; and two great grandchildren, Dani and Marni Marshall, several nieces and nephews, and her best friend and business partner, Mary Davis.

Sareta was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Helen Cotton.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
