Santos Sotelo, 82 of Lubbock passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1941, in Pearsall, Texas to Conrado and Julie (Benavidez) Ventura. She married Guadalupe Sotelo, and together they began their family. Santos enjoyed watching old movies and classic television shows with her family. She loved going shopping, thrift stores were her favorite and she also enjoyed cooking and cleaning for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lupe Sotelo; children, Conrad Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Jesse Sotelo, Linda Sotelo, Julie Sotelo and Lupe Sotelo, Jr.; siblings, Maria, Lupe, and Charro; seven grandchildren.

Santos was preceded in death by her parents, Conrado and Julie Ventura, siblings, Richard, Benito, Jessie, Dominga, Sofia, and Lupe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
