Ryan Gabriel Rodriguez, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, he was 29 years of age. Ryan was born in Lubbock to Gloria (Vasquez) Rodriguez and graduated from Lubbock High School in 2014. After graduation he began trade school to become a plumber here in Lubbock. He married Imani Jones on June 10, 2025, in Lubbock and together they began their family. Ryan was a kindhearted young man and was always spending time with his family, he adored his son, Asa Beau. He also loved dancing, telling jokes, playing soccer, fishing and watching football, especially the Texas Longhorns, "Hook'em Horns".

Those left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Imani Rodriguez; son, Asa Beau Rodriguez; siblings, Brittani Rodriguez and husband Caesare Lopez, Sara Rodriguez and husband Johnny, Joshua Petties, David Galarza and significant other Alexia, Ricky Galarza, and Analia Galarza; grandparents, Anita and Alfonso Vasquez, Steve and Nora Chavez; aunt and uncle, Tina and David Galarza, and a handful of other aunts ,uncles, and extended family and friends.

Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Rodriguez; godmother, Joyce Ochoa and aunt, Maria " Mama Chacha" Diaz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79411. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1102 52nd Street, Lubbock, Texas, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, Texas.

The Rodriguez family would like to say a special thank you to the Neuro Team at UMC for all of the care and attention that was not only given to Ryan but also to his family and friends during this difficult time.
