Rosario "Rosie" Aguero, 68, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1955 to Braulio "Bobby" Aguero and Macelobia Carabajal in Camp Wood, Texas. Rosie was a one-of-a kind woman, she was strong, and outspoken, you always knew what she was thinking because she would tell you. Rosie was very family oriented, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and laughing and talking for hours with them, even over the phone. She was also a very caring person, if anyone was sick, hurt, or needed anything they knew they could go see Mrs. Rosie. She enjoyed going to the casinos, loved to dance, and go out to eat and new places. Rosie was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all those that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Macelobia Espinoza; children, Carolina Aday and her husband, Matthew, Jesus Martinez, Samuel Martinez; siblings, Bobby, Esmeralda, Mary, Virgina, Larry, Lillian, Rudy, and Jessie Aguero; grandchildren, Gloria, Jessica, Sammy, Luis, and Daniel; and one great-grandson, Jose Perez.

Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Braulio "Bobby" Aguero; sister, Gloria Aguero; and two grandsons, Jose and David Perez.

Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Blessed International, 4810 Avenue P, Lubbock, TX 79401. Cremation Services are under the care of House of Angels Funeral Home.
