Rondala Elizabeth DuBois, 55, of Lubbock, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 24, 1970, to Vern and Martha (Glover) Bourque. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her resilience, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Whether she was offering words of encouragement, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Rondie made a lasting impact on every life she touched.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Martha Bourque of Amarillo, Tx; and her children, Victoria Schaffer of Lubbock, Tx, Delois Stevens of Lubbock, Tx, Darren Stevens ll of Amarillo, Tx; her cherished grandchildren, Jaiden , Kelton , Cole ,and BayLynn ,TaeLynn, Loklyn, and Zaleah, Zander, Zakai, Wesley and Samuel; her siblings, Kevin Bourque of Cypress, Tx and Tracy Bourque of Amarillo, Tx ; and many extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Rondie was preceded in death by her father, Vern Bourque.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that love never ends. Rondie’s legacy lives on in the lessons she taught, the love she gave so freely, and the family she treasured above all else. She will be deeply missed every day, but she will never be forgotten.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
