Roger Dale Ross, 70, of Lubbock, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born on August 18, 1953 in De Queen, Arkansas to Walter and Callie (Liggin) Ross. Roger married Lupe Segura on March 10, 1982, in Lubbock, Texas and enjoyed over 40 years together with their family. He was a very family- oriented man, and loved spending time with all of his family. Roger also enjoyed being outdoors, he loved to go camping, fishing, and hunting, he was also known as the shade tree mechanic when he was working on cars. He worked in the landscaping business for about 20 years when he retired. Roger was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Lupe; children, Maria Flores and husband, Roy, Elaine Garcia, Blanca Perez and husband, Richard, Rhonda Sanchez, Roger Ross, Jr. and wife, Nicole, Juan Vasquez and wife, Kelly, Henry Ross, Elizabeth Vaca and husband, Pedro, Betty Alaniz and husband, Adrian; 44 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, and nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Callie Ross; Sisters, Kathy Kevil, Sue Hamilton, Betty Robinson; and six grandchildren.

Cremations services are under the directions of House of Angels Funeral Home.
