Robert "Bobby" Herrera, Sr. "Uncle Bob", 64, of Brownfield, walked through the pearly gates on Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born on March 26, 1961 to the late Willie and Matilde (Servantez) Herrera, Sr. Bobby was a man with a big heart, he was very devoted to his faith. Every day he would send out a daily devotional to over 50 people, even if they didn't respond. Bobby never met a stranger, he was also willing to help anyone when he could, and enjoyed making anyone smile any chance he could. He was stubborn, a jokester, a cheerleader, a coach, a collector, and a God-fearing man. Bobby enjoyed being outside, he had a passion for mowing yards, and always making sure his yard looked the best. He loved his family, and spending time with them, especially his best friend, Ava. Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, he will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Kristi Barnes and Joel Trevino, Misty and Raymond Barrientos, Bobbie Jo Seely, Bettie Jo Herrera, Andrew Robert "Jr." Herrera and Carlee; mother, Matilde Herrera; brothers, Rudy and David Herrera; grandchildren, Alexia Perez, Brian Villarreal, Zander Seely, Alaytha Perez, Ava Barnes, Ka'Relli Tarango, Payton Barrientos, Jayleigh Barrientos, K'aine Herrera, K'obe Garcia, Ka'Ta'Leya Herrera.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Willie Herrera, Sr.; brothers, Willie Herrera Jr., Lupe Herrera; sister, Sally Herrera; Nephew Joe David Herrera; son-in-law, Troy Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, Brownfield Chapel. Mass will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
