Ricardo "Rick" Moreno Tello, 67, of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday December 28, 2021. Rick was born on April 2, 1954, in Edinburg, Texas to Pedro and Narcisa (Moreno) Tello. Rick married the love of his life, Rosie De Lira on April 29, 1974, in Lubbock and together they began their family. Rick will be remembered for being an amazing guitar player in the music ministry, playing along with Crystal River for several years, he also loved having spontaneous "jam sessions" with his brothers. He had a great sense of humor, loved fishing and family time. Rick will be missed by all that knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Melissa Tello, Debra Chapa and husband Frank and Le Andra Tello and her partner Fabian Gonzales; six grandchildren, AZ, Joshie, Brielly B., PJ, Kiks and Leeny Bug; five brothers, five sisters and several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Narcisa Tello; wife, Rosie Tello, and one brother, Pete Tello. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 6 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Family Worship Center, 2104, 36th Street, Lubbock, Texas, with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
