Reyes Torres, 70, of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. He was born on March 22, 1955 in Ralls, Texas to Jose and Eloisa (Piseno) Torres. Reyes was a family man, who loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. They enjoyed BBQ cook outs, fishing, and being outside. Reyes also enjoyed outside work, like yard work and landscaping, watching pro wrestling, and collecting old classic cars. He met Guadalupe "Lupe" Cerna, and together since 1976, they later married in 1990 in Lubbock. Reyes was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Guadalupe Torres; children, Ray Torres, Aberham Torres, Alexander Torres, Priscilla Torres, Ashley Torres, Juanita Torres; siblings, Ramona Garza, Albert Torres (Mickey), Ricky Torres, Esther Torres; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.

Reyes was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Eloisa Torres; siblings, John Torres, Sylvia Gonzales, Connie Torres, and Manuella Torres.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
