Rebeca De Leon Navarrete, 94, of Lubbock passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born on October 17, 1930 in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Antonio and Getrudes (Navarrete) De Leon. Rebeca loved cooking, she was known for making everyone's favorite meals, she always cooked for family gatherings. She enjoyed gardening, she had a green thumb with her plants and flowers. Rebeca was a woman who everyone looked up to, she was forgiving and believed in following God's way allowing his light to shine through her. Her daughter Margarita was attached to Rebeca's hip, they had a special bond and did everything together. Rebeca loved all of her family, and spending special time with each and everyone of them; she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Anastacio Moya, Maria Hernandez, Antonio Moya, Melchor, Deleon, Cayetano De Leon, Margarita De Leon; siblings, Elias De Leon, Sara Ybarra; 21 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Rebeca was proceeded in death by her parents; siblings, Daniel De Leon, David De Leon, Cecilo De Leon.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park.
