Raymond Sanchez, Jr., 57, a life-long resident of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1967 to the late Raymond Sanchez, Sr. and Elena Coronado. Raymond was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He loved to go to the lake, he enjoyed fishing, jet skiing, and getting on the boat. Raymond was a hard worker, he was known as one of the best painters in the West Texas area, he taught his children to work hard for what they wanted. Raymond enjoyed playing horseshoes and dominos as they would cook out at the house, he loved to spend time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra; children, Julia Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez, Kassandra Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Angelica Sanchez, Oscar Gallegos, Esteban Gallegos, Victor Gallegos; siblings, Emilio Ramos, Jesse Ramos, Josie Ramos, Louisa Trevino, Sylvia Rosales, Greg Sanchez, Ramiro Sanchez; 24 grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elena Sanchez, Sr.; grandson, Lazarus Barrera.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
