Raul Acosta, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the age of 37. He was born on August 22, 1986, to Damian and Tereca (Gonzales) Acosta. Raul loved spending time with his family and if it was an outdoor activity he enjoyed it even more, he loved to cook and always enjoyed eating. Rap music was his favorite type of music. He enjoyed the landscaping business. He was a loving son, brother, husband, and father, he will be missed by all that knew him.

Raul is survived by his father Damian Acosta and his wife, Jennifer; siblings, Veronica Acosta, Christopher Pesina, and Damian Acosta, Jr.; spouse Alyssa Mojica; eight children, Alina Acosta, Alissandra Acosta, Raul Acosta, Julius Acosta, Millie Acosta, Aaliyah Acosta, Madelynn Acosta and Armando Mojica, and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Tereca Gonzales Acosta.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
