Ralph Silvas, Jr., 64, of Lubbock passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. Ralph was born on May 12, 1956 in Austin, Texas to Ralph and Josephine (Villanueva) Silvas, Sr. He married the love of his life, Rosa Hernandez on July 6, 1974 in Lubbock, Texas and together they began their family. Ralph attended Frenship High School. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He was an entertainer and enjoyed playing his guitar. Ralph loved his family time, especially the time he got to spend with his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years: Rosa Silvas, four sons; Rodney Silvas (Blanca), Randy Silvas (Tina), Marcos Silvas (Christina) and Joseph Silvas five siblings; Josephine Hernandez, Yolanda Ramon, Frank Silvas, Johnny Silvas, and Sylvia Oballe, and 16 grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Joseph Silvas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with the rosary being recited at 7 :00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
