Rafael Ramos, 66, a lifelong resident, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was born on March 14, 1954 in Lubbock to Ralph and Carlota (Carrillo) Ramos. He married Lisa Ramon in 1971 in Lubbock and together they began their lives. Rafael retired after 20 years of service with the City of Lubbock as a heavy equipment operator with the streets department. He enjoyed going to bingo and time with his family. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years: Lisa Ramos, three children: Melissa Ramos Cervantes and husband Joe, Jennifer Ramos Lopez and husband Lorenzo and Jason Ramos and Wife Sonia, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, mother: Carlota Ramos, four sisters and one brother. Rafael was preceded in death by his father: Ralph Ramos. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with the family receiving guest from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
