Rachel Bosquez, 61, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1963 in Earth, Texas to the late Anselmo Monreal Sr., and Celia (Vasquez) Monreal. Rachel was woman with a big spirit, she loved music, dancing, and to crochet. She was a hard-working, loving, caring woman. Rachel loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years Fabian Bosquez; children, Michelle Resendez, Nicole Zavala, Ernest Ray Zavala, and Ivan Bosquez; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Rachel was proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jane; father-in-law Encarnation Bosquez.

Memorial Mass will be held on on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Please check back for updated service information. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
