Pedro Lopez, 63, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born in Mexico on February 19, 1962 to Emilio Lopez and Catalina Rodriguez. Pedro married Maria Perez in 1982, and they began their life together. Pedro had such a special love for Maria, he was a wonderful and loving husband. He himself was spoiled with Maria's cooking, he always enjoyed eating the food she cooked. Pedro always made sure that family dinner was important each night all together. Pedro was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with all of his family. Even if family was a travel away, he loved to go visit his siblings. Pedro had a sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh, he really never met a stranger. He also enjoyed watching the Cruz Azul Soccer team. Pedro was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Maria Perez; sons, Jose and Gerardo Lopez; six brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio Lopez and Catalina Rodriguez; and daughter, Elizabeth Lopez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
