Paula McGee

Paula McGee, 66, of Lubbock, was born June 20th, 1960 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8th, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. She was surrounded by the love that she so freely gave throughout her life. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we find peace in knowing she is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus. Paula was the definition of love, strength, and devotion. She was a faithful and loving wife to her husband, who was not only her partner in life but truly her best friend. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children Mason, Curtis, Rebecka, Michelle, and Jamie and a deeply cherished grandmother to Cheyenne, Jessie, Eli, and Jacob. Her legacy continues to live on through her great-grandchildren Everleigh, Caden, Jaylee, and Kyler who brought her endless joy and smiles.

Paula had a heart that found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, filling rooms with warmth just by being in them. She found joy in shopping trips to Costco and Sam’s Club, loved caring for animals, and treasured her time at church, where her faith continued to guide her life. She had a love for country music, especially songs by Reba, and never missed a chance to listen to Cher. She also enjoyed unwinding with her favorite true crime movies, always curious and engaged.

More than anything, Paula will be remembered for the way she loved deeply, selflessly, and unconditionally. She was the heart of her family, a steady presence, and a source of comfort and strength to all who knew her.

Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, and she will be missed more than words can ever express. But her love, her laughter, and the memories she gave us will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, we will carry you with us in everything we do.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3211 58th St., Lubbock, TX. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
