Moises Flores-Fraide

Moises Flores-Fraide, 67, of Lubbock, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born in Mexico on February 5, 1959, to Gustavo Flores and Guadalupe Fraide. Moises was a hard-working, humble man, who made a special connection with each person he met and loved. He worked for many years doing different types of trade work in the construction industry, the family said he never had a lazy bone in his life. He was always doing something, if not working, he enjoyed being outside, even if it was just a stroll around the block. Moises was a generous and caring man, who you could always count on to be there for you, he would give his last dollar if someone needed it. He was a family man, and he had a heart full of love that never ran dry. Moises was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, and will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Moses Flores, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, Guadalupe Flores and husband, Rafael, Joe Flores and wife, Marcie, Veronica Flores, Erica Flores, Augustine Flores, Wendy Chavez; siblings, Carolina Cruz, Pulle Cruz, Fransico (Pancho) Flores, Graciella Flores, Adelfa Reynoso, Luis Cruz; 19 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Moises was preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo and Gudalupe Flores; son, Julian Flores; brother, Procoro Flores.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at House of Angels Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
