Michelle Harmon, a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2025, at the age of 51. Michelle was born on April 18, 1974, to John and Debra (Thompson) Harmon. Michelle was such a great person to be around, she lived life big and enjoyed every moment of it. For several years Michelle was a local hairdresser and barber, she was a caregiver for several family members including longtime friend Manuel Chavez. Michell was always lending a helping hand when needed, she was always taking care of others. She was a loving mom, sister, niece and cousin, she will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Caasi Chavez; sister, Dawn Harmon and husband Billy; good friend Isaac Chavez; aunts and uncles, Kay Elliott and husband Steve, James Voyles, and Adam S. Hilzer; several cousins, extended family members and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Harmon & Debra Joy Thompson; memaw, Frances Voyles; pepaw, Odell Voyles; cousins, A.J. Hilzer and Dana Dodson.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at The Way Fellowship Church, 8511 Ave P, Lubbock, Tx 79423. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
