Michelle Diane (Ford) Bateman, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 49. She was born on May 20, 1975, to Roger and LaNelle (Patterson) Ford. She married Adrian Bateman on May 18, 2002, in Lubbock, and together they began their family.

Michelle really loved cooking for her Family and Friends, they considered her their private home chef of sorts. She enjoyed reading, traveling, family dice games and card nights. Michelle welcomed neighbors, family and friends into her home frequently. Most of her friend's children thought of her as a second mother in many ways, while their families looked to her for advice in all aspects of their lives, Michelle gave no-nonsense advice to so many. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Adrian Bateman; sons, Brendon Ford with wife Sami, and Alexander Bateman; father, Roger Ford with wife Debbie; brother Kevin Claborn with wife Michele and several extended family and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, LaNelle Ford and cousin, Bruce Ford.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Star Cowboy Church, 1309 E. FM 1585, Lubbock, Texas, 79423. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
