Micaela "Kay" Trevino, 88, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was born on June 6, 1934, in Abernathy, Texas to Carlos and Aurelia (Navarro) Rangel. Kay was the seventh of thirteen children. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Jackie Trevino, and Gwendolyn Marentes and husband Eladio; her grandchildren, Bria and husband Santiago, Esteban and Grayson; three great grandchildren, Ruben, Mateo and Abel; siblings, Mary Parra, Olivia Lopez, and Joseph Rangel; plus, many nieces and nephews.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Aurelia Rangel, husband, Francisco "Frank "Trevino, siblings, Socorro, Juanita, Francis, Avis, Betty, John Paul, Manuel, Carlos and Victor.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow, Texas.
