Max Salinas, Jr., 81 of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1940, in Karnes City, Texas to Max and Martina (Ramos) Salinas. He married Dora Guerrero in September of 1973 and together they began their family. Max was a farmer. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dora Salinas; children, Monica Carrillo and husband Jesus, Veronica Carrillo, Rosemary Ovalle and husband Jesse, Maria Vallin, Daniel Salinas, and Christopher Salinas; one brother, Steve Salinas; one sister, Helen Salinas; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Max is preceded in death by his parents, Max Salinas, Sr. and Martina Salinas, and one grandson, Joshua John Hinojosa. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Hispana Baptist Church, 111 E. 82nd Street, Lubbock, Texas with burial to follow at the Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Texas.
