Mary Jane Chance, 69, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1952 in Houston, Texas. Jane was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church, where she was loved by all, she loved to work in her flower beds, pamper her dogs, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was also a volunteer with the American Pool Players Association. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Michael Jones and partner Amanda Ritter and Shannon Jones and partner Ashley Lindsey; two grandchildren, Melinda Shae Jones and Jaxon Michael Jones; two sisters, Lorretta Bell and Linda Kay Minor. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Gladys (King) Ligon Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. the New Testament Baptist Church. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
