Mary Elida Bernal, 81, of Snyder passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Lubbock. She was born May 13, 1943, in Kenedy, Texas to Carlos and Frances (Rodriguez) Bernal. She was a long-time resident of Hermleigh before relocating to Snyder.

She was preceded in death with her parents Frances and Carlos Bernal and her beloved children, Richard, Simon, David, Irma and Raul, great grandson, Xavier Ramirez, five brothers, Eliodoro, Lupe, Carlos, Juan, Oralio, and one sister, Cruz.

Survived by one daughter Alicia Villa, as well as her ten grandkids, Kryztena, Robert, Amanda and Antonio Villa, Raelina Valdez, Elida Hernandez, Fernando, Adrian, Christopher and Anthony Ramirez as well as her great grandkids Johnny Ray Lujan, Laila Rai Luera, Raul Patricio Villa, Thalia Laeva Villa, Cassandra Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Ruben Ramirez, Mia and Mateo Ramirez, Adrian, and Noah, Jasiah Valdez and brother, Jose Bernal.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00 followed by a funeral service at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Hermleigh Catholic Cemetery, Hermleigh, Texas.
