Mary Alice (Guerrero) Baca, 67, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was born on November 30, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Jose and Paula (Zapata) Guerrero. She married the late Adam Flores Baca, Jr. on July 11, 1973, in Hale County, Texas, and together they began their family. Mary Alice enjoyed her "Crazy Grandma" time with her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family, many of days you could find her cooking for them or sitting with them binge watching shows on Netflix, she also enjoyed listening to the radio during her spare time. Those left to cherish her memory are her seven children, Monica Baca-Trusty and husband Wesley, Ben Baca and wife Megan Torres, Susano Baca and wife Betsy, Pola G. Baca, Rachel Baca, Jeremy Baca and wife Barbara and Jesus Baca; ten siblings, Robert, Jose, Juan, Victor, Celia, Dora, Esther, Lucy, George and Ralph; 22 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several extended family members. Mary Alice is preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Paula Guerrero; her husband, Adam Flores Baca, Jr. and one son Adam Baca, III. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home, Lubbock, Texas.
