Martha Garcia

Martha Rodriguez Garcia, 80, of Brownfield, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Martha was born on January 9, 1946, in Mexico to Guadalupe and Faustina (Aguilar) Rodriguez. She Married Felicano Garcia and they began their family. She enjoyed life and loved sharing it with her family. Martha loved playing Bingo and scratching off her “Lucky” lotto ticket. Over the years she worked in the housekeeping department at the local nursing homes. She loved spending time with her family and friends she will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Patrick Garcia and wife Rosa, Sylvia Chavez, Felicano Garcia, III, Manuel Garcia and wife Alice, and Rachel Garcia; brother, Freddy Rodriguez; sister, Audelia Garcia and husband John; 17 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Faustina Rodriguez; husband Felicano Garcia and 12 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, 1211 Lubbock Rd, Brownfield, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1902 Levelland Hwy, Brownfield, Texas, burial will follow at the Brownfield Cemetery.
