Mario Alexander Garza, II, a lifelong Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 43. He was born in Lubbock on June 28, 1979, to Mario A. Garza, Sr. and Irma (Abreo) Garza. Mario was the jack of all trades, he loved working on cars, woodwork, and carpentry. He was always up for a challenge, and was very sociable, Mario had a great personality. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father Mario A. Garza, Sr.; children, Audrey Deleon, Damian Garza, Mario Alexander Garza, III, and Evelyn Marie Rose McKinney; siblings, Joyal Garza and husband Julian, Severo Garza and wife Patricia; two grandchildren.

Mario was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Garza; grandparents, Francisca and Severo Garza.

Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
