Maria Guadalupe Vasquez, 67, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was born on September 6, 1954 in Plainview, TX to the late Gregorio and Elisa (Chavarria) Medellin, Sr. Maria married Daniel Vasquez, Sr. on August 23, 1974, and they spend 47 wonderful years together. She loved reading, doing her word puzzles, and dancing. Maria enjoyed spending time with her family, going garage sale shopping, and listening to Tejano music. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Vasquez, Sr.; children, Nicole Vasquez, and Daniel Vasquez, Jr.; siblings, Selia, Janie, Anita, Gregorio, Jr. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Elisa Medellin, Sr., Siblings, Dolores Mendez, and Benito Medellin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at House of Angels Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
