Maria Martha (Valdez) Davila, 65, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was born on March 10, 1955 in Temple, Texas and was adopted by the late Gabino and Maria (Santibanez) Valdez. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Sylvester Davila, Jr.; daughter, Julie Davila; four grandchildren, Audrianna Ansico, Christian Davila, Lua Davila, and Mireya Garcia, one great grandchild Isaias Castillo Garcia; six sisters, Beatrice Montes, Berlinda Montes, Estella Montes, Patricia Welch, Gloria Montes Gordon, and Beatrice Escamilla; three brothers, Joe Montes, Gabino Valdez, Jr. and Jesse Valdez; biological mother, Maria Magdalena Flores. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Gabino and Maria (Santibanez) Valdez, one son, Sylvester Divila, III and one brother, Leonard Valdez. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M. with rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, Lubbock, Texas Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock, Texas.
