Lorenza H. Ontiveros, 80, of Lubbock, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1943 in Midland, Texas to the late Ramon Hernandez and Estella Rubio Lopez. Lorenza was a loving, caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a fierce and strong woman, she loved to volunteer at the CHCL Clinic, and worked in customer service for many years. Lorenza was very devoted to her Messianic Jewish faith and enjoyed reading her bible. She would read and watch her Christian shows while deep in her studies of the bible.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Adrian Ontiveros; children, Brenda Sosa, Maria Suede, and Joe Anthony Muñoz; siblings, Flora Lopez, Ramon Hernandez, Jr., Francis Ybarra, and Dora Zepeda; granddaughter, Christina Ortiz; great-grandchildren, Marissa Muñoz, Luis Andana, Angel and Angelina Muñoz, Jacob and Isiah DeLeon.

Lorenza was proceeded in death by her parents, Ramon Hernandez and Estella Rubio Lopez; siblings, Felicita Chavez, Augustine Sanchez, Willie Bustillos, and Mario Heredia.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
