Linda Carolyn Dewees, known as Rusty Dewees, joined her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born on August 23, 1946 in Lamesa, Texas to Eulis and Margaret (Fuller) Bolton. She was a member of the Quaker Avenue Church of God where she served in the children's ministries as well as other church positions since she entered the doors of the church in the mid 1980's. Rusty loved her family and spending time with them. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her long time companion, Terry Goodman; daughter Kimberlie Smith; grandchildren, Curtis Smith, Terry Smith, and Todd Dewees; great granddaughter, Serenity Parks; nieces and nephews, Shannon Ballard and husband Marvin, Christi Gentry, Dennis Welborn and wife DeDe, Vickie Parker, Melinda Meeks; great nieces and great nephews, Jennifer Ballard, Misty Ballard and Josh Welborn; sister in law, Pam Tonn and her family, Kayla and Shawn Jones and children, Karrie and Aaron Hights and children, Kassandra and Francisco Camargo and their child, Kisa and John Luther and children.

Rusty was preceded in death by her parents, Eulis and Margaret Bolton; daughter, Tami Deweese; son, Danny Dewees; sisters, Helen Soper, Barbara Welborn, and Sharron Fisher; brother, Jackie Bolton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Lamesa Memorial Park, Dawson County, Lamesa, Texas.
