Leroy" Lil Homie" Galan, 41, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1981, in Hereford, Texas to Sylvia Vara. Leroy was dedicated to his family and friends and would help them out no matter the situation, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, pulling pranks and spending quality time with his family and friends. Lil Homie will be missed by all that knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of six years, Amanda Galan; three children, Alazea Galan, Andrea Gonzalez and Jordan Valdez; two stepdaughters, Shelby Tagel and Haylee Brown; special friend and mother of his child, Cassandra Garcia; parents, Victor and Sylvia Garcia, three siblings, Joey Galan, Rudy Davila, Jr. and Nancy McGee; two grandchildren, Liam and Bellamy Tagel; and several extended family and friends.
Leroy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Lupe Casarez; uncle, Ricky Casarez; cousin, Raquel Casarez; and close friends, Jessie Garcia and Aida Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Homes Chapel with Lil Homie's "Last Ride" escorting him to Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park where he will be laid to rest.
