Laura Ann Gehrke, 66, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born on January 2, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Patricia (Taylor) Gehrke. Laura joined the US Army 1978 and served for 5 years. After her service in the Army she attended South Plains College, specializing in Nursing.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Patricia Gehrke.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at West Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered as part of her final farewell.
