Karleen Sue Mendoza, 64, of Lubbock passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Karleen was born on January 14, 1958, in Greenville, Texas to Marcus Everett and Eleanor Theresa (McDermott) Brown. Karleen attended school in Greenville. She also attended Eastfield Community College in Mesquite where she lived, after leaving the Dallas area, she moved to Lubbock, Texas where she continued her education at Texas Tech. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roy Mendoza; two daughters, Emily Juarez and husband Tony of Odessa, Texas and their children Aubrey, A.J., and Sebastian; Chelsea Sudduth and husband Todd of Canton, Texas and their children Tristan, Clayton, Weston and Novalee; her two sisters, Marcy Brown of Killeen, Texas and Debbie Berger her husband Bill of El Cajon, California. Karleen was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Eleanor Brown. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
