Juanita Garcia, 89, of Ralls, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1933, to the late Pedro and Gumesinda (Longoria) Soto in Floresville, TX. Juanita married Pedro A. Garcia on May 4, 1951, and they began the journey of life together. She was a dedicated Christian and enjoyed telling everyone about Jesus. Juanita and Pedro owned and ministered for many years at El Ray Ya Viene Church where they taught their children and families. Juanita loved to sew and make blankets and clothes for her family. She enjoyed cooking for anyone, you never went hungry when you were around her. Those left to cherish her memory is her children, Joaquina Rosales, Mary Hernandez, Raymond Garcia, Sr., Olga Contreras, Marty Garcia, Marla Allen, Elizabeth Munguia, Teresa Salas, Dalia Garcia, Andrea Garcia-Martinez; grandchildren, Marcus, Luis, Manuel, Christy, Pete the III, Gabriel, Janie, Raymond, Jr., Valerie, Annie, Becky, Amanda, Stephen, Stacy, Rosanne, Mary Alice, Marty, Jr., Rosalinda, Ashley, Richard Jr., Isaac, Darlene, Elias, Desarae, Delilah, Severo, Jacob, Oscar, Alexis, Jose, Maribell, Marcella, Billy Jack, Bobby Joe, Priscilla, Beni, Hugo Jr., Cristian, Audriana, Juan, Pedro, Adrian, Addison, Aiden; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pedro Garcia; son, Pedro "Pete" Garcia Jr., grandson, Isidro Rosales, and great-grandson, Emmanuel Rosales; as well as several brothers, and sisters. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, TX.
