Juana Ortiz, 89, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was born on August 29, 1933, in San Marcos Texas. Juana loved to spend time with her family and cooking with her grandchildren. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy's and Texas Tech Fan. She will be missed by all that knew her. Juana loved to "Praise the Lord".

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Mario Ortiz, Rosa Pena, Jose Ortiz, Olga Guerrero, Ramon Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Jr., Virginia Ortiz, and Christina Santana; 37 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.

Juana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Juan Ortiz, Sr. and several siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
