Juan Francisco Villarreal, Jr, 75 of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. He was born on July 22, 1945 in Lockhart, Texas to Juan F Villarreal, Sr. and Santos (Rodriquez) Villarreal.
Juan loved his "Coffee Time" at different places around the Lubbock community. He was a very social person, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a deep passion for music, he played the accordion, harmonica, organ, and keyboard. Juan was an avid UT Longhorn fan. Juan was always known to be a jokester, he had a great sense of humor that was very contagious.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Mary R Sendejo, John F. Villarreal, III, Nancy Villarreal, Nina Garcia, and Jalyn Barbosa, 18 grandchildren, 38 grandchildren, one sister: Santos "Melly" Villarreal and one brother: Jerry Villarreal.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents: Juan F. Villarreal, Sr. and Santos Villarreal, his wife: Thressia Reyes, three brothers: Edward Villarreal, Doroteo Villarreal, Sr. and Abelarado Villarreal, and one sister: San Juanitia Villarreal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with the rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
