Juan Cuevas, Jr., 66 a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on November 24, 1954 in Lubbock to Juan Cuevas, Sr. and Victoria (Guerrero) Cuevas. Juan served in the United States Army. He married Guadalupe (Davila) on January 13, 1979 in Lubbock and together they began their lives. Juan was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a big supporter of the Estacado athletics programs. He loved spending time with his family, especially with the grandchildren. He was a Green Bay Packers and Penn State fan. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years: Guadalupe Davila Cuevas, three children: Leticia Cuevas, Susana Crawford and husband Ronny and Eutimio Cuevas and wife Samantha seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Celastine, Hai'Leigh, Julian, Samurai, Messiah and "Boss Baby" Ava'Marie, six siblings: Vicenta, Socorro, Emilia, Adolpho, Sr., Santiago, Sr. and Luz, Sr. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings: Angel, Sr., Jerry, Conception and Alejandra. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with the rosary being recited at 7:30 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
